Etendard (2016)

Shot in three weeks between Peru and Brazil, Etendard is an immersive dive into the quest of a man looking to give a sense to his life. Two years ago, Steven contracted a skin infection. He has been diagnosed with a specific form of Staphylococcus aureus. After many unsuccessful treatments, he has decided to undertake a journey into the Amazonian rainforest to cure himself with the help of a shaman called Osman. This film follows him as he prepares to go into the jungle to live in complete isolation for three months.
